A joint meeting of the Fairfax Teachers' Association and the executive committee of the Colored Fairfax Association, of Fairfax County, met a the Seminary last Friday. Dr. Caton, the health officer, and Mr. M. D. Hall, county superintendent, were present and thanked the teachers for their support and cooperation during the year. Mr. A. T. Sherley, president of the Fair Association, presented the plans for the proposed purchase of ground for the association, after which the buying of the shares was explained. Quite a few of the members purchased shares either in full or by a deferred payment plan.
